The Investors in People Platinum Award is the highest level of accreditation from Investors in People, and achieving it twice is an acknowledgment of the progress we’ve made in our business. The assessment process over the past few months has been thorough- involving interviews and surveys from multiple members of our team and examined how effectively we lead, support, and develop our team.
Since our formation in 2006, Communications Plus Ltd has steadily grown into a key telecoms provider in the UK. As a long-standing O2 Franchise Business Partner we expanded to over 20 locations, before broadening our B2B portfolio. Today, from our three business centres in Rainford, Chester and Sunderland we offer a diverse range of business telecoms services including Mobile, Sim only, M2M, Ultrafast Fibre Broadband, VoIP Systems and Cloud-Based Security and Connectivity products. We believe that our growth and success have been driven by our commitment to our people, and this award reaffirms our ongoing efforts to prioritise the well-being, development, and engagement of our team.

The IIP assessment covered a broad range of criteria, including leadership, organisational culture, continuous improvement and employee engagement. Maintaining the Investors in People Platinum standard that we achieved for the first time in 2021 required us to not only meet their now higher standards, but also to exceed these benchmarks. We’ve introduced various initiatives to ensure that our employees have access to the resources they need, including professional development opportunities and mental health support, while rewarding achievements and celebrating successes.
To have been awarded at the IIP Platinum level again is especially meaningful given the challenges that all businesses have faced over the past few years. Despite these difficulties, we’ve remained focused on improving our workplace environment and adapting to new ways of working. Our ability to support our employees during these times is a testament to the resilience of our team and leadership.
