Virgin Media O2 Business: What's Changing for O2 Business Customers Get All Offers

Virgin Media O2 Business and Daisy Group have announced plans to combine their B2B operations into a new, unified venture aimed at transforming how businesses across the UK access communications and IT services.

A New Era in Business Connectivity

The move brings together the scale, infrastructure and innovation of Virgin Media O2 Business with the agility and IT expertise of Daisy Group, creating what’s set to be a major new player in the UK business tech sector. Backed by leading shareholders Telefonica and Liberty Global, the new partnership aims to deliver more comprehensive, future-ready solutions for businesses of all sizes—from small enterprises to large corporates.

This isn’t just a merger of resources—it’s a strategic alignment designed to meet the growing demand for integrated IT and connectivity services. With more businesses relying on cloud, mobile, and managed services than ever before, the combined entity is positioned to support modern digital infrastructure in a way that few others in the UK can.

What’s Changing for Customers?

To support this long-term transformation, an internal reorganisation is also underway. So far we know from communications sent to existing customers that from around 27 June 2025, contracts which are legally held with Telefonica UK Limited will be transferred to a new legal entity name : Virgin Media Business Limited.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • No action is required from customers.
  • There’s no change to your services, support contacts, or billing arrangements.
  • Invoices will still come from Telefonica UK Limited, issued on behalf of Virgin Media Business Limited.
  • Customer experience remains the same, with the added benefit of future-ready solutions from a strengthened provider.

This change is a behind-the-scenes adjustment to the legal entity name on contracts, and is designed to streamline operations and better reflect the evolving structure of the business.

Why This Matters

For existing customers, this move signals the investment in the future—one that blends powerful connectivity with agile IT support under one roof. It’s a positive step forward, not just for Virgin Media O2 Business and Daisy Group, but for the customers they serve.

With no disruption to service, and stronger capabilities on the horizon, businesses can look forward to more innovation, better integration, and deeper expertise as standard.
